Attic Insulation in Houston, Texas

Houston heat puts a lot of pressure on the space above your ceiling. When attic insulation is thin, uneven, compressed, disturbed, or missing in key areas, the rooms below can become harder to keep comfortable. Air leaks around ceiling penetrations and attic access points can add to the problem. Attic Insulation Houston helps homeowners understand what is happening overhead and choose practical improvements based on the attic they actually have.
We work on attic insulation top-offs, blown-in insulation, insulation removal, air sealing, new additions and remodels, and attic assessments. Some homes need more insulation. Others need old material removed before anything new is added. In many cases, insulation and air sealing should be considered together. We begin with the condition of the attic rather than assuming every house needs the same solution.
Attic Insulation Houston grew from owner Caleb Turner's years working around residential renovation projects across the Houston area. Caleb grew up in Spring, where he spent school breaks helping an uncle with repair and remodeling work. He kept noticing the same complaints from homeowners: upstairs rooms that stayed warm, air conditioners that seemed to run constantly, and attics where insulation had settled into an uneven patchwork. What interested him was that the right fix was rarely just adding the same amount of material everywhere.
Caleb built the company around a straightforward approach: look carefully, explain what is there, identify obvious weak areas, and match the work to the home. Today he works with field supervisor Darnell Brooks and project coordinator Marisol Garza to keep that approach consistent from the first conversation through final cleanup. The goal is not to make an attic sound complicated. It is to help homeowners understand what is worth addressing and why.
More about us
Our attic work covers the situations Houston homeowners most commonly run into. A top-off can restore coverage where existing insulation has settled or become too shallow. Blown-in insulation can create broad, consistent coverage across accessible attic floors. Insulation removal gives homeowners a cleaner starting point when existing material is damaged, contaminated, heavily disturbed, or no longer suitable to leave in place. Air sealing focuses on gaps that allow conditioned indoor air to move into the attic. For additions and remodels, we plan attic insulation around new construction before finishes make access more difficult. Attic assessments bring those pieces together by documenting current conditions and helping homeowners prioritize the next step.
Restore attic coverage by adding insulation where existing material is still suitable but no longer deep or even enough.
Learn more →Create broad attic-floor coverage with blown-in insulation installed around the conditions of your Houston-area home.
Learn more →Remove unsuitable attic insulation when damage, contamination, heavy disturbance, or renovation work calls for a cleaner starting point.
Learn more →Reduce accessible attic air leaks around penetrations and openings before they are buried beneath additional insulation.
Learn more →Plan attic insulation for additions and remodels while framing and attic areas are still practical to access.
Learn more →Get a practical look at insulation coverage, attic conditions, and possible next steps before committing to a larger project.
Learn more →We serve homeowners throughout Houston and surrounding communities, including Conroe, Tomball, Humble, Kingwood, Sugar Land, Spring, Klein, League City, Clear Lake, Cypress, Katy, Pearland, Aldine, Rosenberg, and Cinco Ranch. The housing stock changes across the region, but attic concerns are often familiar: intense summer heat, long cooling seasons, additions completed at different times, and insulation that has settled or been moved during electrical, HVAC, roofing, or remodeling work.
Our service-area model lets us focus on residential attic work across greater Houston without pretending every town or neighborhood has the same homes. We look at the attic in front of us, explain the condition we find, and recommend a sensible scope. If you are unsure whether you need a full insulation project or simply an assessment, that is a reasonable place to begin.

We do not assume every home needs removal, a full refill, or the same insulation depth. We look at existing coverage, access, disturbed areas, and obvious air-leak locations before discussing options.
Attic work can be hard to evaluate from the living space below. We explain what we are seeing in plain language so you can understand what is important now and what may be optional.
Adding insulation can be useful, but insulation alone does not address every comfort problem. Where appropriate, we also look for accessible gaps that may allow conditioned air to escape into the attic.
Attic projects happen above rooms people live in every day. Our process emphasizes protected access paths, controlled material handling, communication during the job, and a thorough cleanup before we leave.
Our work is shaped by the long cooling season and attic conditions common in southeast Texas. We focus on practical improvements that make sense for homes dealing with sustained heat rather than one-size-fits-all recommendations.
Visible low spots, uneven coverage, exposed ceiling framing, and insulation that has been moved aside can all justify a closer look. Comfort problems or unusually warm rooms can have several causes, so an attic assessment is often the best way to decide whether adding insulation is appropriate.
Often, yes, if the existing material is dry, reasonably clean, and suitable to remain in place. We first look for conditions that should be addressed before a top-off, such as damaged insulation, access problems, or air leaks.
When accessible air leaks are present, sealing them before adding more insulation can make sense because they may become harder to reach afterward. The exact scope depends on the attic and what can be safely accessed.
Removal is not automatically necessary. We may recommend it when existing insulation is badly damaged, contaminated, heavily disturbed, or interfering with the work that needs to be completed.
